Prof. Y.S. Lee, the Director of the Law and Development Institute, published a rebuttal on the Ramseyer controversy.

His rebuttal, entitled “On ‘Comfort Women’ and Academic Freedom: A Rebuttal Academic freedom does not protect outright falsehoods and distortions,” The Diplomat, Feb. 23, 2021, points out that academic freedom does not protect outrageous falsehoods and distortions.
